Neighborhood

Nestled near San Jose State University, this neighborhood is a vibrant, super-walkable part of Downtown San José where you can explore countless attractions on foot. Downtown offers plenty to do – from a world-class convention center and several museums to theaters and cultural landmarks – truly something for everyone. Foodies and night owls will love the options: San Pedro Square Market is buzzing day and night with live music and diverse eateries, and the streets are lined with trendy bars, food trucks, and authentic taquerias (don’t miss the late-night burritos with the famous orange sauce at La Victoria Taqueria!). Major downtown highlights are all within easy reach: you’re just minutes from the SAP Center (home of the NHL Sharks and big concerts), the lively San Pedro Square dining district, the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, and even the historic SJSU campus itself – complete with its iconic Olympic Black Power Statue to discover. Getting around is a breeze with good public transit nearby (VTA light rail stops and the Diridon Caltrain station), plus quick access to I-280, Hwy 87, and Hwy 101 for any road trips[8]. First-time visitors will feel welcome in this fun, friendly neighborhood; the best of San Jose’s downtown scene is right at your doorstep.

Other Details to Note

Please note that we have a guest suite located in the back of the house with a completely separate entrance. For our pet owners, please bring your pets for a walk instead of potty in the front of the house. The pee will kills the plants’ roots, we also don’t want to have other guests accidentally step into the poop. To be a good neighbor, please pick up after them whenever they go. We are proud of creating memories for our guests, so you are welcome to host a small get together if you let us know in advanced. Since all of our neighbors have our contact info, please messaged us exactly how many people will be visiting and staying in advanced and respect the quiet hours between 10:00pm to 8:00am. Additionally, please clean up and take away the trash after to prevent overflowing our trash can. We reserve the right to charge additional cleaning fee or excess trash if we have too much trash too early (Mon is our trash pick up), we need to physically take the trash out to dump and pay additional fees! DO NOT put trash in the recycle bin, they will refuse to pick up our trash! Please keep in mind, we are located on a busy commercial area within walking distance to San Jose University, so there are potential noises due to lots of foot / car traffic.

Our family absolutely loved this Airbnb. The house was spotless, beautifully updated, and had everything we needed. The location is walkable, peaceful, and felt very safe perfect for our in-laws during their visit. Chris was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire stay, which made everything even better. We would definitely book again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The location is perfect, just a stone's throw from downtown, making it super convenient to explore the area. Having my own parking spot was a huge plus, especially in a busy city. The place was impeccably clean and very comfortable; the couches and bed provided the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. There’s a convenient store right around the corner, which made grabbing snacks and essentials a breeze. Plus, I loved the taco trucks down the street—delicious food just minutes away! I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. I can’t wait to return!
