Our neighborhood sits in a quiet residential pocket just southwest of downtown San Jose. The area blends Silicon Valley convenience with local charm; tree-lined streets, longtime taquerias and neighborhood cafes, and a slower pace than the downtown core. About a 10-minute walk reaches Bestor Art Park and the SoFA arts district, with the Guadalupe River Trail nearby for a morning run or bike ride. A short drive (5 to 15 minutes) reaches downtown San Jose, San Pedro Square Market, SAP Center, the Convention Center, SJSU, Kelley Park, and the Japanese Friendship Garden. For travel further out, Diridon Station serves Caltrain, Amtrak, ACE, and VTA Light Rail, and SJC airport is about 10 minutes away.

Guest Access

You'll have full private access to the entire upper-level rear unit, including both bedrooms, the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and dedicated workspace. Shared with other units on the property: - On-site laundry room (keypad access, code in your check-in message) - Driveway with 2 dedicated parking spaces for your unit - Central heating and air conditioning. One system serves this unit and one other unit, so the thermostat is locked and we control it remotely. We keep it between 68°F and 74°F. If you'd like it adjusted, just message us and we'll change it for you within that range. The backyard is shared with other guests on the property. You're welcome to use it, but it isn't exclusive to your unit. Self check-in is via smart lock with a unique code generated for your stay.

Bright, open 2BR/1BA upper rear unit of a duplex. What's inside: - Living room with 75" smart TV and comfy sofa - Twin sleeper ottoman in the living room for a fifth guest (sleeps 5 total) - Full kitchen: granite counters, dishwasher, full-size appliances, bar seating, dining nook - 2 bedrooms with queen beds, bamboo pillows, closets, room-darkening shutters - Tiled shower/tub bathroom - Dedicated workspace - Gigabit Wi-Fi 6 mesh (>1 Gbps) - Central AC and heat, shared with one other unit and controlled remotely by the host (see Guest access) - Ceiling fan Self check-in via smart lock. Pets welcome with approval.

Other Details to Note

A few helpful notes: - Laundry room hours: please avoid 11 AM - 3 PM (housekeeping window) - Pets: please walk dogs off-property and pick up after them. - We're close to SJC, so you may hear an occasional airplane with windows open - most guests find it minor - Other guests stay in the unit below yours. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 9 AM and are enforced for the comfort of everyone staying at the property.

Driving: Free on-site driveway parking for two vehicles (tandem, front-to-back). Quick access to I-280, Hwy-87, and US-101 puts all of Silicon Valley within reach. Additional street parking is first-come; please follow posted signs and street-sweeping schedules. Rideshare: Uber and Lyft arrive within 5 to 10 minutes. Set your pickup pin to the front of the house. Walking: Sidewalks throughout the neighborhood. SoFA arts district and several cafes and restaurants are within a 10-minute walk. Public transit: VTA bus stops are within a few blocks. Diridon Station for Caltrain, Amtrak, ACE, and VTA Light Rail is a short rideshare or drive. Bikes and scooters: E-scooters and bikeshare are typically available in the neighborhood. Bike lanes connect to downtown and the Guadalupe River Trail. EV charging: No on-site EV charger. Nearest public chargers are at downtown garages and the Convention Center.
