The area blends Silicon Valley convenience with local charm; tree-lined streets, longtime taquerias and neighborhood cafes, and a slower pace than the downtown core. About a 10-minute walk reaches Bestor Art Park and the SoFA arts district, with the Guadalupe River Trail nearby for a morning run or bike ride. A short drive (5 to 15 minutes) reaches downtown San Jose, San Pedro Square Market, SAP Center, the Convention Center, SJSU, Kelley Park, and the Japanese Friendship Garden. For travel further out, Diridon Station serves Caltrain, Amtrak, ACE, and VTA Light Rail, and SJC airport is about 10 minutes away.

The crew works exclusively in the backyard - the front of the property and street access are unaffected. We've discounted this listing's rate to compensate for the inconvenience. If construction noise during business hours is a dealbreaker for you, this listing isn't the right fit - we'd recommend our other listings at full rate without construction. Parking is street-only during construction. Plenty of free spaces on Sherman St and nearby streets before 9 PM. Please don't block neighbor driveways or hydrants. SoFA arts district and several cafes and restaurants are within a 10-minute walk. Public transit: Tamien Station is a 12-15 minute walk and serves Caltrain and VTA Light Rail. Diridon Station for Caltrain, Amtrak, ACE, and VTA Light Rail is a short rideshare or drive. VTA bus stops are within a few blocks. Bikes and scooters: E-scooters and bikeshare are typically available in the neighborhood. Bike lanes connect to downtown and the Guadalupe River Trail. EV charging: No on-site EV charger. Nearest public chargers are at downtown garages and the Convention Center.
