Was a great place to stay! It’s next to some great restaurants that are within walking distance and it’s near a college so there is a nice atmosphere and friendly faces during the day and especially at night.

We really enjoyed our stay at this bungalow in the heart of downtown San Jose. The location is excellent — close to the university, the Caltrain station, and the San Jose Sharks arena, which made getting around very convenient.
As expected for downtown California, parking is limited, so it’s something to be prepared for. If you’re driving a larger vehicle like an SUV, it can be a bit tight and may take some patience (reinforcements recommended — lol). That said, this is pretty typical for the area and not unexpected.
The bungalow itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It had everything we needed for our stay, and the space felt welcoming and thoughtfully set up. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking for a clean, centrally located spot in downtown San Jose.

We had a great time staying at Chris's place while exploring the area. The off street parking was perfect for our tall Sprinter van! The place was exactly what we needed!

This location is as described. Loved that it was so close to food spots and amazing. Please check out AM Craft if you stay and enjoy coffee.
Loved that there was a parking spot and checkin was so smooth. The heater worked beautifully and the home is spacious inside. Would definitely book again.

For your own private room and bath, this listing is a great value given its proximity to downtown San Jose. Chris was very proactive in ensuring that I had everything I need for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend Chris as a host to anyone looking to stay in San Jose.

If you sleep with a CPAP bring an extension cord. Accessable plug is on the wall opposite the foot of the bed. This is in the room with the king size bed. Other than that it's a great place.

Great place just beware of Street parking Monday at Midnight you have to find a place to park or you will get a Ticket I know I received one . Other than that great location

Great place right in downtown. Just minutes from Market street and all of the restaurants. The place was clean, and comfortable. The beds are firm and the linens are clean and soft and smelt fresh. The bathroom is clean, and the shower has good pressure. However, the sink is miniature. This was not a problem, but for washing your face for an extended stay this would be a situation. The kitchen sink is huge and there is laundry in the house! It has a gas stove and tea kettle, and the refrigerator is big with double doors & its an eat-in kitchen. And it is 9 minutes from SJC!!! I would stay again!

Brand new, private and everything you need. Lighting fast internet. Iron, coffee, TV. All of it. Do not let the lack of reviews detour you. These guys are pros and this isn’t a chopped up house made to maximize profits. This is a big bright clean space perfect for a short or long term.
